A. It seems to be an allergic cough/cold, common in children under 6. Usually, there's no fever, but the cough and cold can last for weeks. They may be triggered by environmental temperature changes and tend to occur in the evening, night, or morning. Allergies may include food, cold, dust, smoke, and pollen. A doctor'sx examination is needed to begin anti-allergy treatment, possibly for a month, and to determine if inhaler therapy or nebulization is necessary. Uncontrolled allergies can lead to respiratory infections requiring additional medication.
