Q.

For my baby Vercilla (Chicken pox - 1) given in 16 months and doctor ask us to put second dose of Vercilla (Chicken pox-2) after 4months I.e.19 months, As per my baby immunization schedule book it has to be vaccinated at age of 4-5Yrs. Could anyone please suggest is it really need of Vercilla2 vaccine in 19 months Or can baby have vaccine as per book schedule at his age of 4-5yrs ?

A. Chikenpox vaccine to be given at following time : First dose to be given at 15 months of age And second dose at 5 yrs of age. Its an optional vaccine but always better to give It will prevent ur baby from Chikenpox infection Follow IAP immunization schedule chart for Vaccination. Keep ur baby well hydrated. or
