Q.
Dr is it mandatory to give teething medicine to the baby If yes can you recommend please ? Or we can relive symptoms by giving teething toys , freeze cloth or by rubbing the gums ?

ExpertDr Suruchi JunejaPediatric Dentist4 months agoA. Dear parent, common medicines recommended are homeopathic ones which are actually calcium supplements, which do not relieve any symptoms of teething.
Patacetamol can be given in severe crankiness and fever.
Of course massaging the gums and chilled teethers help as they reduce the inflammation and soreness of gums
