Q.

does anyone knows about Varicella vaccine or the chicken pox vaccine. do they cause high fever?

A. thank you doctor. but my baby got 102 fever after his first dose. hence scared about the second dose.

A. no they do not cause fever usually chicken pox vaccine is given (first dose) after completion of 15 months of age and the second dosage can be taken anytime after 3 months of the first dosage. also chicken pox vaccine can be given at any age to the child so if you have missed the vaccine earlier then you can give now also and the xdoctor will tell you what would be the spacing between first dosage and the second dosage
