Q.

Dear Sir/Ma'am, My baby is about to complete 6 months .I have started giving lukewarm water ,making him sip about 2 little spoons of water twice a day .Shall I start giving tender coconut water,if so how many spoons in a day .. For about how much I can give water /tender coconut water in a day ?

A. Dear mum, do not give tender coconut water now. You can continue to give few sips of water in between and after meals, ideally after completion of 6 months. Breast milk and food also contain water and fulfils the hydration needs of baby.

A. Hi Since you have started giving it to the child and give about 30 to 60 ML of water to your child on an every day basis 2 teaspoons is nothing and don’t give warm water if your child is okay with warm water then you give about 50 to 60 ML of that and coconut water also you can give about 30 ML on an every day basis and gradually you can increase the quantity
