Q.

Currently our sons diets is as below: 7:30-8 milk 200-300ml with pediasure 10:30 - breakfast with 1 roti with ghee Lunch again 1 roti with ghee or methi/Palak/cheese paratha - I add soya powder to it 3:30-4 : milk again 200 ml approx 5:30- small apple 8:30- dinner 1 plain roti again..on good days he has rice What can I add here to make it more nutritious.

A. all ok.. as he is 3 year old offer all family food, Give well balanced diet including all five healthy food groups: vegetables, fruit, grain foods, dairy and protein. Avoid foods high in salt, saturated fat and sugar, foods low in fibre and nutrients, and drinks with caffeine or sugar.

A. Hello dear parent! Keep changing the menu so that your child will taste different healthy foods and flavours. Gradually include all food groups in your child’s diet that is healthy and staple in your family. Serve foods in cute Babyhug stainless steel bowls and plates to encourage healthy eating.
