can we gice sweet patato to a baby havng cold and cough?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a prodper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamggol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and yes you can give your baby sweet potatoes in cold and cough as per my opinion and also give baby indirect steam twice a day and also apply Luke warm mustard oil on baby chest.
