Q.

Can we boil the apple in the cooker or we should boil it in a pan. Is there any difference? With the nutrients

A. You can boil or steam both..but better to steam..Steaming keeps more of the nutrients in. steam the food in a little bit of water just until soft enough to puree. Also, use the water the food is cooked in if necessary during pureeing. This is important because a lot of vitamins and nutrients seep out into the water while cooking.

A. Apples may be introduced as soon as a baby is ready to start solids, which is generally around 6 months of age, as long as the fruit is deseeded, cut in an age-appropriate way, and for young babies, cooked until soft to reduce the risk of choking. Yea pressure cook is fine
