A. My baby was born premature, but as I was in my village at that time so we used to give him Suhaga, in English it's called borax I believe (just checked on google😜) to relieve constipation. U can mix just a pinch of suhaga and a spoon of water or mother milk and give it to the baby. These are old times trick, but in my case it really worked wonders 😊

A. Constipation is a common problem seen in children and most important is diet modification so firstly it should be taken care of. give good fibre diet with plenty of liquids and avoid food which can aggravate constipation like Banana, excess of milk and maida containing food. medications like lactulose ,PEG or glycerine suppository should be second option Constipation becomes chronic problem seen in many cases where the most important causative factor is decrease intake of high fibre diet along with lesser fluid intake.
