Can oats be given to 8 months old baby? Is Oats healthy for babies? If yes, what are the benefits if included in her daily routine?

A. Hello good afternoon !! Yes you can feed oats as breakfast. Oats porridge, Oats kheer with dry fruits mix,oats upma, Oats pancake/dosa. Also include other grains, millets (sooji, Dalia,ragi, barley) for fibre content. Feeding in Small quantity is suggested as it forms gas ,give continuously for 2-3 days check potty if baby have loose motions or allergy then avoid oats in baby diet at present.
