Can I use gripe water for my 6 month old baby?

A. no shouldn't use gripe water for a baby Mother's milk is complete food for the baby . The initial portion is watery that takes care of hydration and the later portion that is creamy and rich in facts will provide then necessary nutrition. So there is no need to give even water . Try to exclusively breastfeed the baby for first 6 months after birth.To combat discomfort caused by gases in the babies you need to burp them properly post every feeding session, give few minutes of tummy time regularly to release out the gases. You can also give gastica drops or Himalaya bonnisan drops

A. Gripe water is not recommended for babies younger than 12 month. The digestive tract is sensitive and still developing at this age. Most pediatricians will advise parents to try other methods of soothing a colicky baby before giving them gripe water.
