Q.
Can I make my 5.5 month old sit on a couch with back support while I hold her, or on my lap while I hold her tight? I am scared it might damage her waist and put too much pressure on it. If I can, then for how long can I make her sit like that? 1-2 minutes or more?

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr old girl6 months agoA. Lap is the suitable place to sit the baby, after the baby sit on the lap give mild massage on the backside of the shoulder with giving full support of the baby neck and back of the baby. This position will release the gas from the mouth of the baby.
