can I include salt in my baby's food? He is 7 months old

dr nehaMom of 3 children1 Year agoA. try to avoid but can give just a small pich once a day in daal etc. n best food is home made cerelac. my baby is also 7month n I do give home made cerelac without salt o sugar. one meal of any fruit like apple banana sweet patoto etc.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 7 m old boy1 Year agoA. Babies under 12 months should not get any additional salt through their diet. Intakes between 0.4–0.5 teaspoons of salt appear safe in children up to 4 years old.
