A. Use a breast pump to pump out milk between and after feedings. Eat Sabudana, masoor Dal, jeera, saunf, green vegetables like drumsticks, pumpkin, etc. Feed more frequently which will in turn increase your milk supply. Milk secretion increases based on your demand. So more and more your baby sucks or tries to feed, milk supply increases. Eat oats, nuts, garlic, ridge gourds, bottle gourd, pulses etc. Consult with your gynaecologist and see whether he or she can prescribe some supplements like galact granules. Breast compressions also help. Massaging breasts before feeding also helps.
