Q.

can I have dry fruits in the first trimester of pregnancy. I am 7 weeks pregnant. my MIL says that they produce heat. so do not have it.. is it true

A. yes the dry fruits are of warm category but you should take dry fruits on daily basis- each dry fruit 4 to 5 pieces. During pregnancy it is always advisable to have your normal routine foods and include more of sprouted grains along with green leafy vegetables and adequate water intake which helps maintain good health Do have regular daily walking

A. Dry fruits are very healthy you can have it from the first trimester itself but yes the only thing in general also is that you should have them only in moderation and that is going to be good and soon it is of winter season it is not going to generate heat so you can have them in moderate quantity
