Can I give water to new born baby? If yes then which water? If No then How long?

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. for a new born it is not recommended till 6 month, no water Mother's milk is complete food for the baby . The initial portion is watery that takes care of hydration and the later portion that is creamy and rich in facts will provide then necessary nutrition. So there is no need to give even water . Try to exclusively breastfeed the baby for first 6 months after birth.
