can i give cold compress on baby's forehead after vaccination ?

A. yes when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsidesf in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. hello yes and ice pack or cold compressed should be fine which is not a problem and it is safe to be given after the vaccination is given and it will reduce the swelling and absolutely safe and nothing to worry about and not a problem
