Blood coming from belly button post umbilical cord fall. Is it normal?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. yes it is totally normal to have blood discharge through the umbilical cord when it is falling
it will slowly get dry and fall of itself
please avoid applying oil or any other thing over the area
keep the area dry and clean and apply only T- bact ointment twice daily

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy1 Year agoA. hello normal and just xlean the area using spirit and any concern then it is better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which can good ND ALSO safe and is absolutely nothing to worry about
