babyhas cough n cold... pls advice sm medicine

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. for nasal blockage as well as cough and cold you can give nasal saline drops of any brand and it can be given again and again that is can be repeated every three hourly.
it is salt water so does not have any side effects. can give indirect steam inhalation .
anti-cold medicines at this age haxve got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation.
continue regular diet of the child to keep the child well hydrated and try to prevent temperature variations around the chixld

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello you can put nasal drop and also use instant rub from babyhug which is effective and and regards to the medicine it would be better to check with your doctor she will be able to guide you accordingly which would be better and also safe
