Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child
and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk.
if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping .
there is no need to to go for fixedd feeding pattern.
also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits .
also if the weight gain of the child every month is normal then no need to worry regarding the pattern of breastfeeding

Your child must be hungry and also it’s an addiction to the breastfeeding that most of the kids have in this age because they’re totally reliable on breastfeeding for initial six months it’s okay if you do not want to breastfeed in the night you can get bottlefeeding and see if that helps
