Q.
Baby has temperature of 99.8 and I gave baby parasatimol tonic and my baby has vaccinations tomorrow is that ok

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can cbe repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen andv mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. I think it should be fine but please consult your doctor before taking your baby down to the clinic for vaccination. Keep breastfeeding your baby. Always feed your baby in an upright position. Always feed on demand.
