baby has got white thick patch on his tongue what it can be how it can be treated

SIDDIQUA B ZMom of a 6 m old girl11 hours agoA. hello there!! plz check if patch is present other than tongue also.. A white thick patch... which appears like milk deposition.. try to remove it with clean cotton bud.. If it's not removable then it may candidial Infection.. which looks like milk deposition.. but doesn't go when you try to clean it.. In than case You can use Clotrimazole gel liquid.. Apply it with clean cotton bud on the areas of white patches.. 3-4 times in a day of 2-3 days.. I hope this is helpful

You can use a Babyhug silicon cleaner to clean the tongue of the child it could be just the milk that has gotten accumulated actually you should do it every day when you give a bath to the child as of now this would be helpful and check with the doctor if needed
