Q.

Baby (10 months) Passing motion for 5-6 times daily is normal? Also because he pass motion so frequently not gaining weight. . does he require any medicine?

A. if child is not gaining proper weight you need to consult your doctor to rule out the cause and most of the time it could be because of nutritional deficiencies like nutritional anemia and some other factors like some chronic infection specially urine infection vg or worm infestation should be checked if required .

A. hi what is current weight of your child? if it is between 5.5 to 7 kg ,you should not worry about your child weight gain and motions frequency otherwise you should get your child checked by your pediatrician. give homemade fresh fruits. provide natural probiotics like fresh curd buttermilk etc more keep your child well hydrated
