Namaste Father, It is ok, as some would have the bone weight and some mass or muscle weight gain as such. but over all growth is important, so mostly a full term baby is expected to almost monthly weight gain in range of 400 gm to 1 kg and by age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight.

NL DMom of a 10 m old girl8 months agoA. Not all babies will be big. Do not compare your baby with chunky babies on Instagram. If your baby is active, gaining enough weight ( 400 - 500 gm minimum), completing all her milestones then it isn’t a cause of concern. All babies grow at different rates, what matters is the health.
