Q.

#AskThehello dr.my son is 2.5 year he is not speaking much. he use to make voice giggling and other sound but he is not saying anything like mom or daddy ,dada...he understand everything but he not talking. please suggest me what I have to do..

A. If the child can hear and understand you then no problem, otherwise get a hearing test done. Every child is different and there could be early and late speakers. So u need not worry. The only key is to keep communicating with ur baby regularly. Question him and urge him to answer. Talk to him about everything that u see around. Tell more stories. A continuous verbal conversation with ur baby will improve his vocabulary and encourage him to speak more. Limited screen time can also help to improve kid's vocabulary. But if u r worried u may consult with a speech therapist once.
