Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus
try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inhalation .
anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only gafter medical consultation.
for fever and pain give paracetamol
continue the regular diet which is being given to the child

You can use nasal drops for your child that helps a lot in a better way to open the nasal passage of the child and with that it would be easier for you to make your child breathe because the nose blockage is going to open so it would be easier for your child to breathe and the feeding and breathing would be easy
