#asktheexperts weight gaining of my child is very slow please suggest some medicine for her weight gain he was 24 day old and her weight is only two and half kg

Hello mom please not to worry a lot depends on the baby birth weight and also if he was a preterm baby or a full term baby as comparatively a preterm baby gains in weight on a slow pace. Initial days after the baby is born they tend to loose some weight and then on start to gain weight . And monthly gain of about 300 GMs to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they tend to double their birth weight

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 11 m old boy4 years agoA. hello babies birth weight will reduce and then it will start gaining a d make sure the baby is getting sufficient breast milk and you can even express your milk using Babyhug breast pump to know if the bm is sufficient which would be better
