A. Dear mum, as long as your baby is active, alert, passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, achieving all growth milestones, gaining adequate weight at least 500 grams per month then it indicates good health. For healthy weight gain, you should exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
