Q.

#asktheexperts today morning when my daughter was given a shower everything was okay, but now when i changed her diaper i saw blisters and rasher all over her bum, one on her hand and another on her thigh, my daughter is 11 months old. what should i do?

A. Hand foot mouth disease is viral in origin and mostly symptomatic treatment is required because it is a self limiting disease and here fever come and small eruptions may be seen in hands foot face and other parts of the body along with oral ulcerations so give plenty of liquids to maintain proper hydration fand maintain a ghyood hygiene . Some multivitamin syrup along with antihistamine can be given . For oral ulcer dologel can be applied locally

A. rashes and blister appearing avoid daiper till rashes are cured.. maintain hygiene use Babyhug premium wet wipes to clean at regular intervals use coconut oil to treat and prevent rashes
