#asktheexperts There is my friend's baby boy his birth weight is 2.7kg and he's 17 days old and now his weight is decreasing, 2.2kg only. He is on exclusive breast feeding

I think you should consult with your doctor and start giving formula to the child because within 17 days also the child hasn’t gained any weight in fact has lost 500 g then maybe the breastfeeding is not enough she should start giving formula to the child
