To prevent mosquito bites in infants, it is crucial to create a safe environment by using mosquito nets, screens on windows, and keeping doors closed. Avoid taking infants outdoors during dawn and dusk when mosquitoes are most active. Dress the infant in light-colored, long-sleeved clothing and pants to cover as much skin as possible. Use baby-safe insect repellents approved by pediatricians, applying it to clothing rather than directly on the skin. Avoid scented soaps and lotions, as they may attract mosquitoes. Ensure stagnant water is not present around thex home to eliminate breeding grounds for mosquitoes. Consult a healthcare provider for further advice on protecting infants from mosquito bites.
