#asktheexperts my son is 6month shall i mix jaggery in rice porridge

A. do not use, jaggery before 8 to 9 months. Sweetening of food/porridges are not recommended even it is with fruits, dates, etc because it might become a habit in no time and will be difficult to change taste.

A. hi dear When Can You Introduce Jaggery to a Baby. Jaggery should be introduced to a baby's diet only after the age of one year. However, this may vary based on the baby's health and your doctor's advice. Paediatricians recommend that babies should not be given any form of sugar until they turn one.
