#asktheexperts my son is 43 days old...I tried to clap and all he didn't look that side...when can they hear sounds..

A. hi parent if in doubt get hearing test done it's hard to comment upon without proper examination it would be better if you consult your doctor for proper examination and medication

A. Hearing milestones in the first year of life include: Most newborns startle or "jump" to sudden loud noises. By 3 months, a baby recognizes and calms to a parent's voice. By 6 months, babies turn their eyes or head toward a new sound and repeat sounds.
