A. Small pimples on your son's cheeks can be caused by heat, drooling, blocked pores, or mild skin irritation. If they are not painful, red, or spreading, they are usually harmless and may go away on their own. Keep his face clean by gently washing with lukewarm water twice a day and patting it dry. Avoid using oily creams or harsh soaps. You can apply a mild baby moisturizer or a gentle calamine lotion to soothe the skin. If the pimples increase, become red, or look like they have pus, it’s best to consult a pediatrician or dermatologist for proper treatment.
