#asktheexperts my son always feels like drinking milk by lying down. so basically I do breastfeeding lying down and baby feels comfortable. is it safe

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist2 days agoA. Namaste Mom, Yes you could, but make sure you both are placed well enough , as the baby is able to take in the feed well enough as such would be good

That position is not considered ideally good because sometimes we have seen that the milk slide into the ear and can lead to infections and all which is why the doctors do not approve that position so you should make your child comfortable taking a feed in the sitting position that’s ideally correct
