HomeQuestions & Answers#asktheexperts my postpartum bleeding had turned bright red clots around the 2nd week and had continued to be the same for the next 3 weeks. It looked like a light period. At my check-up last week, my doctor had given me a medicine for 5 days to stop the bleeding. now when the medicine is over, my bleeding has again started and now it looks like my periods have returned as I am having cramps as well. I had a c-section on 7th April. can periods start immediately after the postpartum bleeding?

A. Yes but it does take a break of at least a month you know maybe this is your regular period cycle and see if it continues for more than a minimum of 3 to 5 days then you re-consult your gynaecologist because this weight would be very tricky to give you a correct assessmentWrite Your Answer Here
