#asktheexpert I need an answer from a gynecologist or other experts only pls!!! I am 8 months postpartum and exclusively breastfeeding. I got my periods for the first time exactly on the 8th month after delivery(C-section). But the flow was medium with no clots and it was a fresh flow and it looked bright red. I bleed for 5 days and it stopped now. my concern is that I have heard the first periods after delivery will be heavy and with clots. So what I experience is normal?

Yes It is completely normal sea I would like to tell you every woman has a different story Sam can I have a heavy period Sam can have light or the regular one lot of women have irregular periods for initial six months once they resume their period will all these things are considered completely depending on the body to body of the woman who is having these issues
