Q.
#asktheexperts my newborn is 21 days old and she is on top feed . She was not able to latch properly after my feed she was restless crying n her diapers were dry . Before every top feed I do breastfeeding for 30 min .15 min each breast . Some people saying she will rebuild after one month . What you suggest . How much top feed recommended for 21 days newborn . And she sleeps at night around 12 am and get up around 7 or 7:30 am

You can give 30 ML in one time easily this is the minimum appetite of a child in this age apart from that take Shatavari powder it’s a great lactation supplement you can take it thrice in a day with warm milk if it helps increasing your lactation it will be easier for you to feed your child directly on the breast over the period
