Q.

#asktheexperts My husband is tested covid positive 3 days back . And is under isolation in a different room.. yesterday both my baby and i developed symptoms of covid that is fever ,cold . My baby temperature was 100.6 so i gave him timol syrup. I breastfeed my baby and he is super active..but should i wear mask all the time in room.. will my symptoms make his symptoms more worse.. what to do i am confused. As wearing mask all day not possible.. and cant stay away from him. What to do. How long will it take for him to Recover from this ?

A. it's good to wear.. Wash hands frequently with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand rub and especially before touching the baby; Wear a medical mask during any contact with the baby, including while feeding; Sneeze or cough into a tissue. Then dispose of it immediately and wash hands again; Routinely clean and disinfect surfaces after touching them.
