Q.

#asktheexperts My daughter is 5 month old and she is just 5 kg ..what can I do to increase her weight. Her birth weight was 1.900grms and she is on breastfeeding

A. Namaste Mom, As she was a low birth weight baby hence the case , not to worry as far as their is progress in weight gain gradually and if the baby is able to balance his head & neck well enough you can start with liquid conisstency foods & gradually progress to semi solid and mashed foods

A. Looking at the birthplace this is an appropriate healthy weight gain because by the completing the time of five months or child should have been somewhere around 4 1/2 kg and your child is already 5 kg so as per the birth rate this is a good weight gain for your child
