#asktheexperts My daughter is 3 years and 11 months old and her feet palm is dry and it's turning black also. Please advise.

A. This is mostly due to friction with the footwear. Keep the affected area clean. You can use a scraper a bit to get rid of the dry skin. Apply xerina cream on the affected area 2 to 3 times a day for 7 to 10 days. Make your child wear socks rather than crocs.

A. This is looking like some kind of an allergy so I think it would be better for you to crosscheck with your doctor one time and they can tell you what is the problem because without a physical assessment it’s actually difficult to figure out what’s the situation
