Q.

#asktheexperts My daughter is 2 months old. I have been exclusively breastfeeding her but lately she has been biting my nipples so hard that there are severe cuts and I am unable to breastfeed her. I was pumping but I am unable to do that as well due to the pain. I started formula feeding today. is it okay to have a combination of formula feeding and breast milk? does that make me an inefficient mother?

A. Look if you know if you determine the definition of being mother with only giving breastfeeding then you are certainly mistaken there are so many women in this world who only gave formula milk because they cannot even produce a drop of milk that does not make them any less from the mother who is breastfeeding the child so you’re a complete mother you are doing the best in the interest of your child so always think about yourself and do what is best in the interest of your child and yourself because taking care of your health is equally important as it is important to take care of your child
