#asktheexperts My daughter has just turned a year old but she doesn’t drink water have tried many ways to make her drink also have even tried with the taste of water but she doesn’t, what can be done to make her drink water

A. Adequate water intake is very important for a baby's good digestion. Children should learn how to drink water without any flavor or sweetner in it. If they are thirsty enough, they will drink it. Put the water in a cup rather than a bottle. Give fluids in food by making foods as runny as possible Offer your baby water between meals when she’s not hungry and keen for food. Keep trying. tc
