#asktheexperts my baby is now 1yr n 4 months old,how can i increase the hemoglobin of my baby ?

A. When the child's hemoglobin is low, you should provide iron-rich foods. These include green leafy vegetables, dates, lentils, different types of dal, fruits like apples and bananas. You can also add jaggery to every meal and prepare the child's food in iron utensils. Adding lemon, rich in vitamin C, to a diet that contains iron enhances the absorption of iron. Your doctor will advise on the appropriate iron supplement for the child, usuallyf recommended for at least 3 months to improve hemoglobin levels.t
