#asktheexperts my baby is having sticky eyes with yellow discharge and having watery eyes

A. Frequently eye discharge may be due to allergy, infection or trauma by nail of baby or blocked nasolacrimal duct.  If it is due to blocked nasolacrimal duct since birth we have to reopen that duct with massage . Massage from inner side of eyes to the tip of nose. It will help  Nasolacrimal duct can also be blocked due to nasal congestion Visit ur nearest pediatrician once for detail examination of ur baby.

A. Hello dear parent! Can be due to blocked tear ducts. Get your baby personally examined by the doctor and seek further advice. Maintain a good personal hygiene and follow your doctor’s advice. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby well on demand. Keep Babyhug medicine dropper handy
