A. Once your baby completes six months and starts eating solid foods, you can begin offering small amounts of water. Start with 2–4 teaspoons (10–20 ml) of boiled and cooled water a few times a day, especially after meals. This helps keep her hydrated and aids digestion, especially as she transitions to solids. However, breast milk or formula should remain her main source of nutrition. Avoid giving too much water, as it can fill her tiny stomach and reduce her milk intake. Gradually increase the quantity as her solid intake grows.
