Q.

#asktheexperts My baby is almost 23 months old but he speak very few words.. he understands everything and even able to convey his feelings and thoughts through actions but doesn’t speak or even seem to be interested in speaking.. I continue to talk to him whole day but he doesn’t speak .. what should I do to make him speak/talk at the earliest ?

A. if your child is able to understand and follow all the commands given and is able to you hear what you are saying with proper eye contact then do not worry much about the language skills skills of the child because speech will gradually come. try to avoid tv mobile laptop like screen time and spend more time with the child talking with the child as well as if more people are available to talk with the child and this will also improve the social and language milestones of the child.
