Q.

#asktheexperts my baby is 4 and half months old.. she got penta 2 vaccine on May 12th..On her thigh, there's a big hard red lump... should i do something or will it go away on its own.. i was rubbing ice on the area and applying thrombophob but someone said don't use ice too much.. so what should i do.. pls suggest something useful.. it seems like that it hurts her sometime

A. after painful vaccines like dpt which comes with pentavalent vaccine can cause swelling in the limbs which can continue for more than two months also. f it does not require any treatment and should go away on its own. t after vaccination immedtiately you should start applying ice as well as thrombophob gel to prevent such swellings from persisting c
