Q.

#asktheexperts My baby is 3months old. He has got rashes behind his neck also under the nappy area. These days everyone says no for powder. And i apply sebamed diaper rash cream everyday after he takes bath also I give him 10-15min of diaper free time after every diaper change but still he has got rashes. What should i do to prevent it?

A. for perianal/perigenital rash if it is less then you can go for simple coconut oil as well as any rash cream which is available for diaper (rashfree / ezinapi / b4napi / zincal) but if it is not improving then at night time you can add t bact cream in tthe perianal area which will help in decreasing the rash. to prevent the diaper rash in the future kindly apply coconutt oil before making the child wear the diaper

A. It Would be like heat rash on the body so you can go ahead with using calamine lotion and if it is specifically in the intimate area of the child and that could be due to excessive usage of diaper so in that case I’m going to advise you to go ahead with Vaseline petroleum jelly coconut oil or Boroline anti septic cream
