Q.

#asktheexperts my baby has just started her 4th month and keeps biting her lower lip. can she be teething so early? Also at night while sleeping she pulls her hair due to which she has lost lots of hair on both sides. is there anything can do to stop this?

A. Hi yes teething is a natural process which usually starts by age of 5-6 months. but it can happen early also. to confirm for teething phase please check for other signs also such as excessive drooling of saliva, swollen gums, itching and irritation in gums, loose motions and high temperature.

A. Hello ma’am Yes certain kids start to have their teeth only before the age of six months but that’s quite a rare case and if your child is already having it then consult your paediatrician and go for a course of medication which will help in settling down the irritation in gums pain I think your child is actually act acting like this because of the pain only. So just consult a doctor
